Booking terms
Dott.ssa Barbara Shkodrani · version 2026-09
Who you are dealing with
Your counterpart is Dott.ssa Barbara Shkodrani. NodeMed supplies the website and the booking system and is not a party to what you agree with the practice: it does not provide medical services, does not decide whether an appointment is accepted, and is not responsible for the treatment.
A booking is a request
Choosing a slot sends a request. It becomes an appointment when the practice confirms it — sometimes immediately, sometimes after a look at the diary. Until then the slot is held but not promised, and no treatment is agreed: what will be done is decided in person, after a medical assessment.
The price you see
Prices on the site are indicative, and several are shown as a starting figure. The final price depends on the assessment made at the practice and is agreed with you before anything is done.
The deposit
For some treatments the practice asks for a deposit of 20% of the price, paid online when you book. It is not an extra charge: it counts towards what you pay at the practice.
- The deposit is taken through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach the practice or the platform.
- Cancel more than 48 hours before the appointment and the deposit is refunded automatically. Cancel later and it is not refunded.
- If the practice cancels, the deposit is always refunded, whatever the notice.
- A refund returns to the card you paid with, and takes as long as your bank takes.
Changing or cancelling
The confirmation email contains a personal link with which you can move or cancel the appointment yourself, without telephoning. Please use it as early as you can: a slot you free up goes back to someone on the wait-list.
If you do not come
An appointment you neither attend nor cancel is recorded as a missed appointment. Where a deposit was paid outside the free window it is not refunded; the practice decides whether to make an exception.
Products
- Products ordered on the site are collected at the practice. Nothing is shipped.
- An order is a request: the practice confirms availability and tells you when it is ready.
- You pay on collection, not online.
- Because you collect in person and pay there, this is not a distance contract concluded with payment: the fourteen-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not arise. Your rights on faulty goods are unaffected.
Reviews
- A review published on the site is one you chose to leave, and the practice decides whether to publish it.
- A review marked as verified belongs to someone who actually had an appointment. One left from the public form is never marked that way.
- Please do not write clinical details about yourself or about anyone else, and do not name third parties.
- You can ask for your review to be removed at any time.
What this site is not
The information published here is general and does not replace a medical opinion, a diagnosis or a prescription. It is not an emergency service: for anything urgent call 112 or go to an emergency department.
When things go wrong
The practice answers for the treatment it provides. The platform answers for the service it supplies — the site and the booking system — and does its best to keep them running, without being able to guarantee that they are never unavailable. Neither of them limits any right you have as a consumer.
Law and disputes
Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim before the court where you live, and you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. Write first to barbarashkodrani@gmail.com: most things are settled that way.
Changes
These terms are version 2026-09. The version that applies to a booking is the one shown when you make it.
